Anyone notcied how people are now singing Dougie's name to the heaven but only two weeks ago people we're yearning for him to be sacked.

Some of our supporters disappoint me.

Very true. Nothing has changed, same shite football with same shite tactics.

I'm sure my bedsheet will be out again after the next two games.

I don't know where you sit but nobody around me was signing Dougies name yesterday, infact up until the 3rd went in some were on his back....even when were winning 2-1.

I've supported him throughout, but (as Im sure he knows) he's got a long way to go and a lot more points to pick up to convince a lot of people.

The encouraging thing for me is obviously the improvement we've seen at the back, but also Beckford hitting form. Is that 4 in 5 now? From the highlights I've seen it looks like he's getting into dangerous positions throughout the game. Could go down as a masterstroke bringing him in, I certainly wasn't convinced at first.

What the hell were Dougie and the players thinking, winning a game at home 3-1? Clearly they all need to go, in January when the transfer window opens again.

I was. You owe me an apology.

You slagged him off as a complete waste of time and money after his barren spell. I said it was ridiculous to write off a striker so quickly.

You owe me an apology.

Who's said he should be sacked?

I've not seen any evidence of it. Where's your proof?

I for one, have always backed him fully and have said from day one that he's a brilliant manager and just what we need.

We'll piss this division and probably set a new points record.

We'll be up by Christmas.

Dougie for PM.

The key word is "after". When he was actually signed I said he would be a very good signing.

Apologise please.

Our fans are generally fickle as most of them need instant gratification so they're up and down like a bride's nightie.
Most can't get their head round the idea of a long term plan and if anyone was ever stupid enough to give some of them a managerial position in any walk of life they'd be hiring and firing their way to bankruptcy faster than you can say "Dougie out".

I wouldn't say our fans are fickle, we've had are fair share of shit tbf, if we win a game we have got to be positive about something.

Kennster I personally don't know if DF is the right man or not; a point I have made several times and still believe to be true. What does make me mad is people who slag off a manager when we don't win, blame him for everything and then refuse to give him any credit at all when we do win. You can't have it both ways. For my money we are clearly heading in the right direction at this time but does that make me a Dougie-phile? No, far from it. What I do feel is that if he's to blame when we lose or draw then he should get the credit when we win, something I adhere to no matter who the manager is.

I get fed up with people who call for him to be sacked when we lose then claim it was 'luck' when we win and had nothing to do with him.

If we are round about the top half come then, which isn't impossible considering we are only 8 points off the play offs then the months leading up to May will be very interesting.

Agreed. Personally I think we might just be on our way up and that the woeful start we had may even be a blessing in disguise. We've often seen teams get off to a flier then have a really bad 'blip' period halfway through or at the business end of the season that costs them dearly. What if it turns out that our 'blip' was actually that start? I know it's an optimistic idea and I don't claim that is actually what is happening but I do feel we have some solid reasons to be hopeful of continuing to climb the league right now. With thirty one games to go there is still plenty of time for nearly anything to happen and in this division it almost certainly will. I really can't remember being in such a wide open competition in our premier league days where the top four were known before a ball was kicked and all that needed to be settled was the precise order in which they would finish while more or less everyone else scrambled to either scrape a Europa League spot at best and most were simply fighting to survive.
