Why would anyone (other than the obvious internet grooming freak type - and I can't see the point of that on this forum, unless you were REALLY into middle aged men who all drank too much) want to pretend that they were 16?

At 16 you know fuck all, you're spotty as fuck, you can't vote or drive a car, you live at home with Mum & Dad, you've no money, you've not been anywhere interesting and you know fuck all about football.

Why do it.....?

What does not going anywhere interesting have to do with labelling certain section of our supporters fickle? I'd love you to find a link between the two.

Because they can Breadman - that is the short answer.

I don't get the joke myself and it starts to get really quite disturbing when they create a twitter account and try speaking to underage children.

Thankfully that seems to have now stopped but you've got to ask yourself when does a joke end and a sickness begins?

Are you 16?

Yes or No?

If you say yes, then you're full of shit.

If you say no, then you're also full of shit but for different reasons.

So what is it?

Very true. Nothing has changed, same shite football with same shite tactics.

I'm sure my bedsheet will be out again after the next two games.
You're avatar is an ugly fucker.

Ooooh.....not nice, Sluff.

And, indeed, more than a bit sinister........

I hope you alerted the authorities?

Dirty bastards.

I drafted a letter out to the GMP and posted it on the open forum and challenged him to carry on talking to children on twitter if he didn't think I would send it - the nonsense soon stopped.

As far as I could tell it was all meant to be a joke - but I don't find a grown man engaging and deliberately misleading underage children as funny, as I'm sure the GMP force wouldn't either!

I guess people can become whatever alias they want to be on the internet but as a father of a teenage daughter myself, someone acting in a similar manner to what pedophiles do didn't sit comfortably with me at all.

Kennster as kept his pretend age away from being a topic of conversation on here and that is the only reason why he his tolerated.

He knows where the line is and he knows I'm not joking about it either.

People complaining about having to read a different opinion, incredible I thought that was the point of a forum but clearly not.
Our fans are generally fickle as most of them need instant gratification so they're up and down like a bride's nightie.
Most can't get their head round the idea of a long term plan and if anyone was ever stupid enough to give some of them a managerial position in any walk of life they'd be hiring and firing their way to bankruptcy faster than you can say "Dougie out".
A bit like Gartside then?Wink

You speak for yourself Breadman.

At 16 I'd been on the cover of several magazines, had my own Accountant, a place of my own, and had walked the catwalk in Milan, New York and Paris.

And I still knew more about football than any bloke.
