Monty Python Comeback.

Dont think this is a good idea at all, great in its day but well stale now, as for the state of them it really wont look good. Its obviously for money as they just about hate each other for some reason. It was the young fresh look that played a big part of it like palin's spiv character and a fat balding Idle is not going to work , only new stuff has a chance of working but i think they should let it be. Any other monty fans out there with thoughts on it?

Some of their earlier sketches were ground breaking stuff at the time. The Life Of Brian was a cult movie as well. I don't think they should make a comeback because times have moved on.

I Never knew a woman that found it funny, they have something missing in their brain.

Brilliant at the time. Who could ever forget 'bicycle repair man'. The PC brigade wouldn't like the effeminate army drilling sketch,but sod 'em,it's still funny.

The only python stuff I have found funny is Life of Brian, this has to be about the money surely.

Had they been performing some new material it might have been of some interest. As it it,it looks like another re-hash of old sketches that were innovative in their time,but will probably look a little creaky now. If they make a few bob good luck to them,Cleese certainly needs the money!

I never watched them first time round, only really started watching their stuff in the last 4or5 years, so in a way it's all pretty new to me but I think they are a bit old now and don't think a comeback will work.

Just like to say I do find most of their old stuff very funny.

Brilliant in their day but the reforming will be a let down. I wonder if Terry Jones can still do the high pitched old woman voice?

At least the python lot had the decency to eventually jack it in,unlike that geriatric nonce Bruce bloody Forsyth,who's still poncing about on 'strictly' wearing his pubes on his head. Will someone please send him off to the Dignitas clinic and cleanse my Saturday nights.
