Was it in bad taste that some guy spent hours at the Mandela funeral doing fake sign language on stage - or was it the best troll ever?

Would you be offended if you were deaf? Apparently the deaf community have been making a lot of noise over this....

According to the news reports the signer was schizophrenic. You would have thought they would have employed a better signer for such an occasion.

How can they tell?

Was he arguing with himself?

Just more evidence of corruption. The company that employed him and its directors have "disappeared". Apparently they have worked for the ANC previously. Still a bit of an insult to both Mandela and the deaf community.

How did they allow a "schizophrenic" get so close to all those world leaders in one place? What if they decided to pull something even worse?

The whole thing was a shambles. The Mandela legacy is in danger of sinking into a quagmire of corruption. Probably already has, just like the rest of the African continent.

The most distasteful bit of it all for me is seeing Winnie Mandela milk it for all it's worth.

Has everyone forgotten that he binned her off after she was found guilty of abduction and murder?

The whole thing's rotten.
