Wanderers’ Under 21 side will be looking to continue their fine form of late when they host Chelsea at the County Ground on Monday evening.
Entering the clash on the back of an impressive 3-2 victory away at Liverpool last week, the club’s youngsters will be aiming to secure a fifth consecutive victory in all competitions when the Blues come to town.
With the Whites also enjoying a fruitful spell in front of goal with 16 strikes in their last four outings, the team will be hoping for another impressive result against their Stamford Bridge counterparts.
Chelsea will certainly have to be on their guard to keep young strikers Zach Clough and Conor Wilkinson at bay, with the pair enjoying impressive individual campaigns so far.
The Blues themselves however haven’t tasted defeat since mid-September, but have failed to pick up maximum points in the league since the beginning of October.
Having suffered just a single league defeat on home soil so far this season though, Wanderers will no doubt be confident of securing a positive result against the Blues ahead of their U21 Barclays Premier League Cup clash away at Burnley next Monday evening.
