this is for the mods and admins really, have you ever thought of doing a small range of t-shirts, mugs etc. I for one would part with a few quid for a t-shirt to wear with pride at the one home game a season you can actually wear just a t-shirt and not six layers.

The new banner would make a great t-shirt by the way.

i could sort this. I have a very close friend who has a small business doing printing of mugs, tshirts, hats etc.

who else would fancy a bit of Bolton Nuts merchandise? Any graphic designers out there?

My mate can also supply quality mugs and key fobs at a decent price, with any logo on it. My mate owes me a few favours, so if maybe one of the mods can give me a picture of the official Bolton Nuts advert, I can post a picture of my mate's mug and key fob on here.

Sounds a decent idea but we need to plan it a bit more before we go for it.

We need to have a rough idea of what it will cost us to produce 'Nuts' T-shirts, cups etc and what people will be happy to pay for them - ie we need to cover our costs if we can.

The next thing is where we 'stock' them and how to we 'deliver' them to the paying customers - I assume bringing them along to a home match - but will people want to walk around with say a cup all afternoon?

I think we would be happy not to look to make a profit on the venture - just so long as we don't make a massive loss on it though!

We also need to decide what picture exactly we want to have on the T-shirts etc (and also what size the T-shirts should be - remember we seem to have a lot of 'big-boned' members!)

So this is what I suggest -

If Rebel and Culcheth could please get an idea from their mates as to how much a 'minimum' order for T-shirts, cups and fobs would be (and how many they would be happy to do at that price) - then that would give us an idea of what sort of price we would have to charge to break even.

The next thing would be to take orders for the 'goods' to see if we could sell our stock if we went ahead.

We also would need a volunteer or two willing to kep the stock and bring it to the games to pass on to the customers.

I don't think they would have to worry about handling cash as we have a paypal account that people could pay direct too.

Whilst all the above is going on we need suggestions as to what picture we want on the T-shirts etc.

I assume whatever picture it is, will also have the Nuts web address on it also.

So lets get started should we?

Rebel, Culcheth if you could find out a price and pm me the details I would be grateful.

We can also ask them to do them in ladyboy sizes as well, wouldn't want you to miss out Nat.

i liked the subbutteo picture, that would be a good choice for a t-shirt, surely instead of bringing to games you could add a small amount on for post and packaging?

There are sites where you don't even pay to produce them, you just pay when they are made and ordered...

This is a great idea. I don't think anyone should profit from it.
