I don't give a hoot if he's gay or not, but what I don't like is how hypocritical he is, especially when I hear that he's retired, and is now looking to take forward the issue of homosexuality in football/sport.
If he felt so strongly about it, why didn't he make the effort where it would have had most effect, and that's on the field. He's done a cowardly thing, and isn't helping the gay players in the countries playing stock. Looks to me like he's looking for another lucrative job. If you were gay, would you ask him for advice?
