Natasha can sleep well tonight then (as well as most of you)!!!  Let's spend the money on Dawson in a fortnight!  At least that will keep him with us until the season ends (unlike last season).  I hope Dougie reads Bolton Nuts as well!

So let me just get this right... Beckford is injured, Ngog has gone to Swansea, Sordell is at Charlton, Craig Davies has gone to Preston and Eaves is away on loan. Mason is no longer coming to the Reebok so that only leaves the young lad, Juicytits who we signed on Tuesday night as a recognised striker?  scratch

There is always the young lad Odelusi- and a couple of other young players who we have been shouting about to get a first team game. Not the best, I'd agree. but lets see who he plays up front today (and on the bench). It might just be breakthrough day for some of the younger players. Let's be honest- they can do no worse than N'gog and Mason

He had his chance in 8 games.

though Craig Davies "wasn't given a kick" in his 20 games.

So I'm glad about this.

He hasn't played 20 games.

He hasn't played more than 3 games together.

He hasn't played in a 4-4-2 at all this season.

Where I come from that's called not being given a fair chance.

While I'm in agreement Craig Davies never got a fair shot.

I'm simply not having that Joe Mason had his in 8 games, starting or not. Sorry.

So only one strker on the books and he isn't even ours. This masterplan of Dougies really is starting to confuse the hell out of me.

Ngog, we had to cash in and free up wages to have any chance of signing Dawson or anyone else.

Craig Davies said he wanted 90 mins every week which meant he wasn't going to be happy if we brought in a loaned striker. He said he was happy to go to a lower league to get more game time.

Eaves is young and hardly setting things alight where he is. He is out to learn.

Beckford is injured.

Sorrell was still not happy and not prepared to put the work in in training.

Mason was all set to sign but pulled out.

We have no money to put any real weight into bringing others in.

Freedman is in a bit of a pickle and hands are tied more than any other manager i can remember...

I believe Mason pulled out due to a family bereavement. May be on again when the loan window opens. Having said this I don't believe he can play as a lone striker!

Haha what a load of tosh Biggie. No manager can come in, get rid of the entire playing staff (like some think we need) and bring in a whole new squad. Dougie has been dealt a very good hand and we have a larger wage bill than most in the division, every manager has to make the most of what they have. It seems Dougie has lost the players and can you blame mason for not wanting to come back? Play up front on his own with high balls being pinged up to him. Mason has proved a cardiff he was a good player, Freedman had brought him in and absolutely wasted him. Open your eyes Biggie.
