We are getting a right battering down here at the mo, 70-80 mile winds.
fecking rain going sideways, I think its time for Artois.

Staying in Eastbourne tonight the weather is terrible right now wheelie bins are flying through the air and the sea defence gates are closed damage is occurring wish I had not come down here now I'm only 100 metres from the sea front.

I can't believe there are people that like this weather. I'd give anything for summer to come tomorrow.
Hot days out at football, going out walking in shorts and tshirt, watching Wimbledon on tele, test matches, BBQs, lager, wine, gin. That's what it's all about.

It certainly looked bad on the news this morning. It sounds like the wind is moving north this morning. Batten down the hatches.

I could use some rain here in Jamaica. All these hot days out at football, going out walking in shorts and t-shirts, 20-20 Cricket, playing dominoes under the stars until all hours while drinking beer... damn you, tropical weather!

My lad lives in South Devon and has been up all night waiting for the roof to be blown off ! He has rung his men this morning and told them to stay at home till it improves ! We have got off lightly so far in comparison to some places down south !

I hope Magoo and Angry Dad were able to ride out the storm.

We are pretty safe in the north west. You shouldn't have sold the Wanderer.   

It arrived in Norfolk today. Alternates between nasty and miserable. Hopefully all the leaves I didn't sweep up in Autumn will blow away.
