If you could take the complete works of five musical legends to a desert island who would it be.

Everyone has different tastes where music is concerned. It is very subjective. I don't like Punk or Rap music but I did enjoy some of the stuff produced by the Pet Shop Boys and Erasure.

With music I like a little bit of everything..
I like pop, Hardhouse, reggae, Hardcore, dance and rock, even classical .
But only bits of each.

What a question. I guess if it was a desert island and there were only 5 artists it would have to be a diverse spectrum, each with a load of records and at least one would have to be cheerful so I'd go for:
The Skatalites (Upsetters would be second, but I'm going for pop ska over dub)
John Martyn (Joni would be a close second on the folksy jazzy list)
Miles Davis (Bebop over a host of greats)
Mahalia Jackson (Sorry Aretha, Bessie, etc)
Has to be Led Zep if I was to pick one rock band's life works I suppose.
Five just isn't enough.

I'm sure many of them did. I've heard it's more common than people think.
