Who do you want to win, Blackburn or Burnley?

The big Championship derby is nearly here, t'classico..... Bleakboon v Burnley.

I hope that their luck runs out, and boy have they had the luck in the last two meetings.

With this fixture being on a Sunday, this game could be on the telly or a stream floating around on the net I would have thought.

If that's the case I might watch it.

It was suggested by a Bar Steward fan on BRFCs.com that they rested players for the Bolton game because of the game against us.

I obviously think that it's bullshit but I did notice that there was no Carney, Hanley or Dunn knocking about and Kane came on late into the game.

The official line is that they were injured but it will be interesting to see if all three of them feature on sunday.

I really doubt that either team will win by three clear goals Karly. I hope you're right though.

Sorry CD, I'd love nothing better than a resounding win for the clarets but unfortunately its going to be a 1-1 draw. Bar Stewards equalising with a freak own goal in the 8th minute of extra time.

Burnley to win at least 2 - 0, I want it for two reasons. First, it will make my much loved (albeit clearly mentally impaired) Uncle David happy. 

Second because I would rather see a North West team like the clarets go up before the likes of QPR and along with Leicester Burnley have played some really nice football this term. Besides, I cannot stand what the Venkys have done to Blackburn, it's a travesty that those clowns are still in charge and for my brother's sake (a lifelong BRFC fan) I want them to have zero success in the hope that'll drive the lying scheming slime balls out of Ewood Park sooner rather than later. 

I'm a Trotter first and foremost and always will be but I'm a Lancastrian born and bred so I don't like the way the blue and whites have been mangled but I do like seeing Burnley sitting above 'Arry and his big time charlies.

I'll be supporting Blackburn, without a doubt, Bolton Hater is a funny poster.

I'm going 3-1 to the Rovers, they'll be well up for this.

The Blackburn Rovers fans are quite concerned about the game. I was talking to three Blackburn fans last Saturday and I'm sure they said they hadn't lost to Burnley at Ewood Park for over 35 years?

They were genuinely concerned that Burnley were going to break their duck at Ewood. These local derbies are nearly always tight so I think a draw is most likely but I echo the sentiments of LPP and RogueManny in that I would much rather Burnley go up at the expense of QPR.
