Dougie Freedman has dismissed speculation over the immediate future of Wanderers winger Chris Eagles revealing there has been no contact over a loan deal.
Weekend reports linked the former Manchester United man with a switch to Derby County after a spell out of the team at the Reebok ahead of Thursday’s emergency loan deadline.
But the Whites boss says there have been no enquiries for any of his players.
He told The Bolton News: “I saw the link with Derby but we have had no phone calls for him (Eagles) or any players.
“Obviously, Chris is a little bit frustrated he doesn’t find himself in the team at present but that is more down to the form of others like Neil Danns and Joe Mason who play in the same position.”
