Jamie Fullarton’s Wanderers Under-21 development squad will travel to Wigan Athletic on Thursday, April 17 for the semi-final of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.
The Whites second string beat holders Manchester United away on penalties in the last eight to set up the Wigan clash, which will take place at the Robin Park Arena, kick off 2pm.
Meanwhile, Fullarton’s side made it two successive FA U21 Premier League wins against London opposition on Monday.
They beat West Ham 2-0 at the County Ground in Leyland, in their final home game.
The goals were scored by Georg Iliev and Tom Walker.
They travel to Norwich City’s Carrow Road on Friday for their last league game of the season, kick off 7pm.
