So.........
When did we as a country adopt the annoying practice of starting every sentence with the word "so"......?
I first clocked it on FiveLive a few weeks back when Peter Allen was interviewing some bint who was defending bankers' bonuses and she started every reply with "So..." followed by a short pause.
It got right on my jugs and I've since noticed it's happening more and more nowadays.
In terms of being annoying, it ranks just above that horrible way kids nowadays all talk like Australians and end everything they say with their voice going up, like it's a question but it's not quite as annoying as the way politicians all feel compelled to shoe-horn a "you know" into every sentence they trot out.
Is it just me and do I need to chill out a bit or does it annoy anybody else?
