Adam Bogdan wants to send Wanderers fans away happy this weekend – with the promise of much more to come after the summer break.

The Hungarian keeper sounded an early battle cry as he called for the Whites to end the campaign on a winning note against Birmingham City in this Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off at the Reebok.

Wanderers failed to recoup the ground lost after a dreadful start, in which Dougie Freedman’s side won just one of their first 13 games.

But Bogdan feels by finishing strongly, the feelgood factor can spill over into next season.

“We are determined to finish the season on a high,” he told The Bolton News. “We know we didn’t start the season well, so we must make sure we finish well and to leave a great taste in our mouth when we go on holiday to re-charge our batteries.

“And we need to do it with a promise to ourselves we can pick it up again next season.”

Bogdan faces an important decision this summer as he heads into the final year of his Bolton contract.

The indication is contract talks could be on the cards in the near future with the highly-rated 26-year-old.

And the man himself is talking positively about the club’s future – picking out the impact of local lads Oscar Threlkeld and Andy Kellett in the last two games against Sheffield Wednesday and Leicester City.

“Having young players come through is great for the team, it gives an energy like a fresh breeze,” he said.

“It is good for them they have had an opportunity because they have worked really hard on the training pitch.

“And I mean it because Jamie Fullarton demands very high standards. He works them really hard.”

Bogdan hopes the young guns are given another chance against Birmingham, having taken their recent opportunities so convincingly.

“The only thing you can do is be ready when the chances come and I think these lads have been ready,” he said. “They have proved we can count on them.”

Come on Nat we all know you can't give up on the super whites altogether, if you don't come on here next season who are you going to find to wind up and call them bellends, ponces etc?

Have Chorley even heard of the internet, nevermind internet forums?
