Keeg's,
I still have a pathological aversion to Megson and you go and post a picture of him.
I feel sick now and want to kill something.
Thanks a bunch.

I'm not responding to that because Whittam will call me a knob-jockey again if he catches us talking about onanism.
And I'm not giving her the ammo, KP.....

In the Sky Sports News Transfer Centre I looked us up and saw the following:
Transfers Out:
Gartside, Freedman and all related "coaching" staff" (using the term advisedly as my lawyers tell me a TRUE description of Bolton Wanderers coaching setup may involve violations of various decency laws)
Sadly I then woke up.

Sky Sports understands that Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a fee for Leicester City striker Chris Wood.
The 22-year-old, who joined the Foxes permanently from West Brom in January last year, has fallen down the pecking order in Nigel Pearson's side following the arrival of record signing of Leonardo Ulloa.
Wood is well established at Championship level and found the net four times in 26 league appearances last season as Leicester claimed the title and secured a top-flight return for the first time in 10 years.
The New Zealand international is familiar with Wolves boss Kenny Jackett having worked with him during a productive loan stint at Millwall two seasons ago, in which he scored 11 times in 19 games.
Wood joined West Brom's academy at 15 and was highly rated as a youngster at The Hawthorns but found first-team opportunities limited and had loan spells with Barnsley, Brighton, Birmingham, Bristol City and Millwall before joining the Foxes for a reported £2million fee.
Wolves have boosted their squad already this summer with the arrival of Tommy Rowe from Peterborough and Rajiv van La Parra from Heerenveen, with Jackett's men seen as dark horses in the Championship following their promotion from League One.

It gets better....
Reading have had a bid rejected for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray, according to the Sun.
The 30-year-old, who missed most of last season with a knee injury, has been in fine goalscoring form during pre-season, scoring five goals for the South London club.
But with Dwight Gayle and Marouane Chamakh ahead of him in the pecking order at Selhurst Park, he might find his opportunities limited in the Premier League this season.
Murray, who scored 31 goals during the 2012/13 campaign, has two years left on his current deal and is also said to be interesting Fulham.
Palace are said to want £3 million for the frontman.

That's what Leicester paid, not necessarily what they are asking for him.bwfc1874 wrote:£2million transfer fee. Great.

I think the best we can possibly hope for is Murray on loan.
But would Palace be inclined to do us any favours?
It's one thing flogging us their surplus / fringe squad players, but they could command a fee for Murray, so I'd suspect they'd want a permanent deal for him and we ain't got the money for that.

Only a madman would pay £3 Million for Murray, 31 and had a bad injury, Palace are having a laugh with that sum.

We're still guessing at Dougie's targets although I suspect that he would have enquired about Murray and possibly asked about Wood - both reasonable guesses.
What we know for sure is that he's after 3 and having secured Mason until January needs 2 more in before the end of August.
I think we all feel he's looking for a "big target man" although I'm not totally convinced that's the way to go - and Wood was the obvious choice, so I'm not sure what will happen now.
Personally I think we'd be better off with a striker in Dougie's own mould - quick, good control, decent shot, finisher. Sometimes playing to big target man is like flogging a dead horse.
Bring it on.
