So you can't judge a manager just on results...a lot of it depends on his resources.  West Brom, Bournmouth and the like etc. will always struggle or be mid table. Not because their managers are worse than the big boys......but because they can't compete financially and get the players they want to build the teams as they see it.  That's the way of the world at the moment.
Leicester and Ranieri last season.

Didnt spend a lot
Just spent well and obviously managed the team well

We are talking in general not specific teams & managers.

As for Leicester weren't they bought buy that Asian bloke who has pumped a good few million into the team.  Nothing in the realm of the big boys but enough for that fluke season. But now you mention it...it shows what can be done with relatively small investment.
So if Leicester finishes mid-table this season and get relegated next season is Ranieri a bad manager all of a sudden? or is he still a good one?

Leicester spent about the second or third least in the premier league last season.  So not bad going really.  And i think Ranieri is proven as a decent manager with or without masses.

Big Sam is also a good manager and gets the best out of players.

Managers like mourinho, guardiola, klopp, they will never have to worry, because if a cog doesnt fit, they can just go out and buy a new one.

Exactly ......  mourinho, guardiola, klopp will always get offered jobs at top teams with mucho money to spend. So they will by default always have good records... so are they good managers or just lucky.  Hard to say IMO.

Klopp improved Dortmund with no money comparatively speaking. He's done the same at Liverpool.

Mourinho did the same at Inter and Porto.

He spent over £100m in 2 seasons at inter, at a time Seria A spending was much reduced, Porto is where he really excelled and made his name for himself

Mourinho has had plenty of money to spend wherever he has been apart from at Porto. Fergie always had a decent budget, as have all the managers at Chelsea under the Abramovich dictatorship. Klopp had the second highest budget in the Bundesleague behind Bayern. Pepe is the same, wherever he has been he has had money to spend.

They don't move unless they know they have mega millions to spend.
