Chris Eagles banned from driving for 12 months. He was caught talking on his mobile phone whilst doing 60 in a 40 in Manchester

Yeah and you know he tried to get it thrown out on grounds of "exceptional hardship" if he is unable to use his car. Get a taxi!

It will be reduced to 9 months after he attends a course about the dangers of driving whilst being distracted - or something along those lines.
