He seems to be banging them in for fun for Big Sam. Why didn't he shine at the Reebok?

He's the worst player to pull on a Bolton shirt though?

Not Vaz Te's biggest fan but he's got more to offer than KDavies.

It wouldn't have done us that much harm to have given him a one year deal at the start of the season.

I agree with Doffcocker. Vaz Te is still quite young. If the Hammers get promoted it will be interesting to see how he fares in the top flight.

Oh shut up you mug, he'd been an absolute disaster for BWFC from start to finish. I dread to think the amount of money we flushed down the bog on him.

He's scored a few goals in the Championship, big deal. He was clearly out of his depth in the Prem.

I'd be amazed if at any point during his time at Bolton he was he earning 5 figures, and also if he'd been demanding such for a return in August.

There's no way he could have come to Bolton and played a key role for the reason you mention in your last sentence, but that's not to say he couldn't have provided a better alternative than some of our other players.

He's scored twenty goals in the Championship, for the record.

You're basing all this on what you know now, but at the time getting rid was the ONLY option.

Do you think we should give Zat Knight a new contract, because he could be great in the Championship next season?

I didn't say we should have kept him. I didn't even say that bringing him back was ideal. Just that worse decisions have been made this season.

Vaz Te wasn't good enough at BWFC, but he does look a vastly improved player now. But that's football.

I think the question is whether he would look on moving back to us as a backward step. At the moment I think he would.
