I was shocked. Thought it was John Mayall for a minute.

Macclesfield-born British Blues Legend whose band members included (variously) Eric Clapton, Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac and Mick Taylor who later joined the Rolling Stones.

The other guy was in The Young Ones and Blackadder.

Massivs shock. R.I.P. Rick. One of my comedy heroes over the years. Kevin Turvey, The Young Ones, Comic Strip Presents, New Statesman, Blackadder etc.
Will be sadly missed,only 56,hard to take it in.
