After all this talk on peanut butter, I have just had 2 slices of toasted and buttered with it on  

Just had some myself on toasted irish soda farls,topped uo with grated Cheddar.

Peanut butter is amazing but putting butter on before it is f'n mental in my opinion and ruins it completely. Matter of taste I guess but it's very sickly with butter.

I have never put Peanut Butter on toast - I like it with just regular bread. I like it with Jam (Jelly for the Yanks) every now and then but I find it can become cloying like that.

I like peanuts and I like butter, but I don't like peanut butter! The smell makes me heave.

I'm glad I'm not alone. It seems to be an American thing this peanut butter malarkey. I had some Malaysian Pork Satay kebab skewers in a restaurant not all that long ago and they tasted odd. When I looked at the menu I saw they were coated in peanut butter.   

I love peanut butter & jam, it makes bed time so much fun
