Allardyce's Best player - Semi - Okocha v Jaaskelainen

Well after an extended wait to get all the votes from the last round, as the scoring was so tight for so long, we can now reveal the first of our semi finals.

Ranked 2nd and closely contested winner over Ivan Campo in the last round by 13-10 is the outrageously talented Jay Jay Okocha who is up against ranked 6th and upsetter of the form book in the last round with a 13-9 victory over Mr Bolton Wanderers himself, the 3rd ranked Gudni Bergsson, is the blond bendy backed Finn, Jussi Jaaskelainen.

Both of these players have one last poll to contest after this round, one will be in the 3rd/4th place play-off and the other in the grand final itself - but who will be in which?

Jaaskelainen's distribution was always terrible and I've not forgotten that he refused to sign a new deal when he heard a rumour that one of the "big" clubs was interested in signing him.

It all came to nought and he wound up having to sign a new deal with us.

I'm not saying I dislike him too much for it, but we're at the business end of these polls now, so it's got to be a factor in my voting.

Plus Okocha had nicer teeth.

Okocha was never consistent enough IMO, brilliant when ala Villa and West Ham, but anonymous for a fair percentage of the games he played.
