Reality did bite tonight. We pulled off a marvelous win against the odds having gone a goal down. I wasn't keen on SKD coming on but by god he showed that he can be a great impact player and is still a bloody handful. Really pleased for the lads. We seem to play better away from home. More on Saturday please!

Bet Villa are bricking it! Away to WBA for a Brum derby followed by Spurs at home and Norwich away! How many points can they improve on their 36 ?

We needed that one. A win and a draw out of the last 4 and I reckon we're just about there and the youth experiment is on. Although we have to set our stall out to win them all.
No doubt Rovers will thump Spurs and Wigan so we can't let anything slip.

they will stay up no problem. Lets not get carried away, we are still in deep deep shit, but this is a massive chink of light.
now, can we build on it, or will we fcuk it up as we have done over and over again this season!?

Funnily enough I only factored us drawing against Villa so if we can play the same against Sunderland I reckon we could come away with at least a draw. Every lining has a silver cloud.

At the moment Villa are only on 36 points. After their defeat tonight where do you realistically see their next points coming from ? 36 points wont be enough to survive, that's for sure.

I always saw that win coming. Great result, particularly after coming from a goal down. Villa didn't even have time to settle after scoring and this just shows that this Bolton team has the capacity to maintain their place in the Barclays Premier League.

Away to WBA ? At best they might scrape a draw. The fans are on their backs and the Villa players must feel like shit.
