Vardy was bought from Fleetwood and introduced to Leicster City's first team. With good success.
Then I think he had a dry spell was withdrawn now is back.
Looked an excellent player today against the £160 million plus team from Manchester.
DF was saying he was licking his lips.So with Mason probably going to be recalled in January let's get Clayton doing what he should be doing seeing if he can make that next step up from Leauge 1 to the Championship, what do you think.

I didn't realise that Clayton played for Sunderland pre season. He must have potential because he has been capped for England at Under 16, Under 17, Under 18 and Under 19.

He was linked with Arsenal, Man United and Liverpool when he broke into the Crewe team 3 years ago. Hasn't lived up to his potential by all accounts, whether he can with us is open to debate.

We were talking about Clayton yesterday and we couldn't recall him playing against us when we played Crewe in the League Cup. It turns out he wasn't even on the bench because he had refused to sign a new contract at Crewe.

He has been without a club since last season, guess we were the only ones that wanted him or he wouldn't be here.

In fairness to him he did break his ankle in 2013.

Crewe were holding out for 1 million DF got him for £300-000 after saying to the board" this is an offer to good to give up on" also quoted as saying he was licking his lips( maybe they were dry n he needed lip balm) however my point was Vardy came from Fleetwood similair age done ok in the Championship with Leicster.
So if DF is so excited as to be licking his lips why isn't he at least on the bench. That was the question that I basically put out there before the 3 stooges BM ,WHittam,n 874 posted there comments.
Would you play him,put him in squad after all he is our big summer signing after the kid for £10-000 from Tamworth.

Clayton could turn out to be a good investment. Let's not forget Charlie Austin.

Enjoyed Vardy yesterday. Mind you, who wouldn't when Manure are being put to the sword?

I heard it was the first time in the Premiership era that Manure have lost after taking a 2 goal lead.

Happy days.

LVG's face looked like a slapped arse at the press conference. Moyes had more points than him at this stage last season and United had a much easier set of opening fixtures this time around. I am absolutely loving it!

Charlie had scored a shed full of goals at different levels before his move to the Championship.

I think a better example would be Danny Ings. Both around the same age (at the time of moving up to the Championship) and both hadn't much of a goalscoring record in League 1.

Vardy's an absolute scallywag. He clearly fouled the United full back and probably dived for the penalty, and said after the game it was a definite penalty.

Total bellend, but indeed, just the sort of player we need.
