Gutted for the kid.
He showed some real sparks of class against Wigan and I really, really hope this injury isn't going to put him in the bracket as Holden and Mavies.
Dodgy things, knees.

I've never had a knee injury, or in fact any injury that kept me out for weeks or months.
Perhaps I should be training these ponces because it's clear the current regime are clueless.

Max Clayton injury update
Max Clayton is set to be out of action for six months after undergoing surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The young forward, who recently joined the club from Crewe, fell awkwardly during the weekend’s game against Ipswich at Macron Stadium.
And further scans have since revealed the extent of the injury with the striker now set to be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Clayton has made a total of nine appearances for Bolton this term, scoring the one goal against Wigan.
