He can smell blood for a goal, i like him.

his movement is class.

He's got a bit about him but obviously lots of work to do. 

definitely someone who could score a few in this league eventually I think.

I agree with hipster, he needs to develop a bit yet but could be a bit of a gem if he puts the work in.

The lad shows promise,and clearly wants to learn.

Pace, movement and that knack of getting himself into the right place at the right time.

It's very early days for young Max in terms of his Bolton career and I trust Lennon to develop him and bring him on.

He could be a real good 'un for us.

But my big fear is that he scores a few and gets poached by a "big" team because, whether we like it or not, we're a selling club.

Just hope that (A) he does score a load of goals for us and (B) when we do move him on, we get some decent cash for him.

You can tell the lad is a part of the Crewe academy - technically a good young player, with a bright future.

Like you say it's always going to be the case with Bolton having to sell. It will be the same with Lennon unfortunately. If he does well with us the prem chairmen will take notice. I can't see us keeping hold of him as long as big Sam if he proves a success.

Good movement, clearly at his most dangerous when he can play off a defenders shoulder. Should have got 4 tonight IMO but for a 20 year old he looks very composed. Great business for a free transfer and just the sort of signing we should have been making for years.

300k is a steal, Crewe were not happy that he ran down his contract. Can they put sell on clauses in these deals, if so I imagine we will need to pay Crewe a slice of any future fees.

Let's not worry about that yet.

It's goals scored for BWFC that count, not future sell on fees.

If he gets us 20 goals a season for the next two years and we wind up selling him for £8 million and Crewe get £1.5 million out of it, I don't give a fuck.

The lad scored one scabby nutmeg goal. Don't get too carried away. Give him a chance.

I think we are all just chuffed to bits that things are starting to come together finally and with Lennon's help.
