After 10 games we simply are unable to score goals. We have failed to score in 6 out of 10 games (60%)!! we have scored 7 goals in 10 games - take away the Rotherham result and it would be 4 goals in 9 games. We are the 2nd lowest scorers in the league which matches our lowly league position.
Dougie Tried the lone striker and 2 up front, Beckford not starting on any occasion when we failed to score.
Watford - 1 up front - C Davies (16 shots 4 on target)
Leeds - 2 up front - C Davies + Mason (22 shots 8 on target)
Sheff Weds - 2 up front - C Davies + Mason (6 shots 1 on target)
Wolves - 2 up front - C Davies + Mason (11 shots 5 on target)
Derby - 1 up front - Mason (9 shots 2 on target)
Fulham - 1 up front - C Davies (8 shots 0 on target)
Hopefully Max Clayton will get a crack tomorrow lets see what he can do. Maybe its the midfielders not creating decent enough opportunities? Either way, you cant win matches if you don't score goals...
Oh and our defense is shite too
