Best of the bunch for me, not sure Clarke or Hughton would have been able to get this squad fighting and his Celtic side were both organised and hard working - We need both now.

Really thought we'd end up with a nobody after Dougie went so this is positive. If he doesn't start well I'm sure he'll be a ginger cunt, but I hope he gets a fair chance.

Well from me he's got at least the rest of the season to show he's moving us in the right direction, I don't mean miracles, just progress on the field and a bit more entertainment with teams that play to win rather than simply avoid defeat. 

Personally I think this could be a stroke of genius for both Neil and the club but it'll take time to know that for sure. Anything outside the drop zone with some decent football would be enough to make me happy this season. I'm sure we'd have seen neither had Dougie stayed.

If he can bring some entertainment and passion on the field back to the club I will be happy, I can't remember the last time I came out of the stadium thinking i'd seen a really good game of attacking football.

He comes across as a straight talking bloke, he didn't take any notice of all the sectarian haters in Scotland so I can't imagine too many of our "stars" wanting to take him on. Let's be honest we have a bang average squad but as long as we play with a passion and look at least organised with a plan then it's a move in the right direction. 

Its a new start, everyone should have a clean slate if he can get Beckford and Mason in he team and firing that would be good.

People always say "he's got until..." or "I'll give him x number of games" but it never works out like that.

A lot of people said they'd give Freedman ten games this season, but everybody pretty much wanted him gone after the first.

I've no doubt there'll be people calling Lennon not fit to burn after a few games if he starts badly.

To be fair, if he's half the motivator he's been made out to be, you'd expect to see some improvement straight away.

He will kick every ball on the touchline this lad, but expect bigger clubs to come in for him towards the end of his one year rolling contract, he fucked Fulham off for us?

Gartside should've given him a two year contract.

Breadman, why don't you get down to the Macron now, (for the first time) and back the team, instead of moaning about it on a forum, it might even change your view?

When I heard he was an option, he became my preferred choice. I wanted a coach who is accustomed to winning and is able to instill that mentality into our shower. I hope Bolton fans in general will get out of their malaise and support the new managerial team and give them a chance to succeed before any new bed sheets are prepared for them. Those that were made for Garty can still be used with no complaints from me though - I'm still not a fan.

He must think he can rise with this team, and tbf we have some good players, transfers might get some talk in weeks to come, after he knows what we're lacking.

Don't be surprised with this guy, if we're not creeping into the playoffs at the last minute.
