By the way i didn't say "success shouldn't be taken into account" what i mean is that, for me, isn't the defining issue when it comes to picking the England manager.
look at klinsmann for example, the players wanted to play for him because it was klinsmann, he hadn't had a jot of success or experience.
I'm not saying we should get a random England favourite i just don't think "success" is the #1 definer.
