Should be a good game as the rivalry is as strong as ever and they are playing well.

I'll be watching this one .

Scott, did you put the date on the subheading yourself? I'm well impressed...

I'm looking forward to it. Strachan should have them pumped up for this one. I reckon it could be a decent game.

Pointless game - we could be battering Blackpool tomorrow if it wasn't for this shit.

Might as well play Chorley FC for what it's worth in terms of public interest.

I used to love watching the Home Internationals as a kid but that was back when Scotland still produced half decent footballers, unlike today.

If we win, it's business as normal and won't prove anything.

If we have an off night because our lads can't be arsed and the Sweaties scab a win, people will just say it was a nothing game and it'll be forgotten in about three days.

Utterly pointless.

If we have to play a friendly I would much rather it be against one of the home nations. It feels like there is something riding on the result for a change. I for one wouldn't like to lose against Scotland and would like nothing more than to beat them in their own backyard. Would you rather they play against Scotland or someone like Croatia, for example?

Love England Scotland ties. Hodgson played down the history in an attempt to minimise tension/reduce incidents but for me the history makes this game.
Scotland always do better than we expect and they will be a good test for the young English kids.
Expect Strachan to tell his players to bully the midfield - they have the players to do it.
