Although from a year ago!
I absolutely love them, will be great for when I go to the Blackburn game on boxing day as I will stink the place out!

The right way being, in someone else's house and then eaten by them and not me.
They're rank.

Apparently they taste wonderful if thinly sliced, raw, added to fennel tops and lemon juice, sprinkled with cumin seeds. Think I have lived in the South too long. Alternatively, boil them to buggery, and throw straight in the bin and avoid the middle man...

Used to hate sprouts as a kid, but love them nowadays. Isn't it strange you don't like the same things as a child than you do now, I think it's something to do with your tastebuds being different.

Fry up some bits of fatty bacon or lardons till the fat is rendering
Blanche sprouts for 2 mins in boiling water then drain and add to the bacon for a couple more minutes or until the bacon is crisp, seasoning well. Perfect al dente and flavoursome sprouts.

My sister's husband's from Bedford and he came up a few years ago and did 'em like that with chopped nuts in 'em other poncey shit.
Still tasted like sprouts though, ie wank.
