Anyone been watching, anyone even interested?

Ronnie has gone out.

Trump looks in fine fettle.

Murphy is rampant.

I'd like Barry Hawkins to win it because he doesn't have the flair or the tools that Murphy and Trump have, but he's a battler and a nice chap.

I don't have an opinion on Stuart Bingham. It's just the way it is, so you'll have to like it or lump it.

The last frame between Hawkins and Robertson was very tense. My personal favourite is probably Murphy because he lives locally and is a decent chap by all accounts.

Is gas cooker rhyming slang for snooker? I don't pronounce cooker and snooker the same.

I think it's the American pronunciation.

I've heard Jim Wyche refer to it as "snucker" when commentating on the Mosconi Cup.

(Which is actually Pool - pronounced "Pool".)

Maybe Copps picked it up when he lived over there.

Yes it is but when you get snookered in a game of snooker the East Lancashire slang is gas cooker. Now it's the end of the story.

What about the town of Colne?

Pendle folk say Cowlne. Which is proper.

Other Lancashire folk say Cone.

Other outsiders say Coon.

If you're ever in the moss side area don't ask anyone if they know a coon in the Burnley area, it could get messy.
