If I was him (or the club) I'd be sending others out to meet the press as much as I could - and the times he does have to meet the press I'd limit my comments to just football 'what hapens on the pitch' talking and nothing else.

I've never liked Pat Murphy, what a tool. Clearly went into that interview with an agenda, trying to make out that Pearson should be some sort of role model.

Obviously he went in with an agenda, Pearson deserved to be showed up as the tool he is. Thought Murphy did a good job there.

i think its right Managers get pulled up on this kind of behaviour, if only someone had been brave enough to do it to old red nose Fergie, he got away with it all the time and even banned journos he didn't like.
