Mavies, Holden, Pratley, Clough & Sean Davis Take Note!

We enjoy blaming Gartside or any number of managers for the demise of our beloved club, but what about those players who have sat on their arses while taking thousands (often millions) in wages.

I'm talking about those injury prone ponces like Mark Davies, Stuart Holden, Darren Pratley, Zach Clough and Sean Davis who between them have probably missed 10 years of football - while all the time drawing a huge salary from the club.

These leeches should take a look at Paddy Kenny who has cancelled his contract with Bury after just 13 days because he is injured. He couldn't take money from a skint club while he sat at home injured. Top guy.

So next time you're sending death threats to Phil Gartside or Eddie Davies, save one for Sean Davis or Stuart Holden who certainly contributed to the financial state of BWFC.

Speaking of Clough, anybody else read what the naive child said in today's interview in the BN?

Apparently he buggered his shoulder up 3 years ago when playing for the U18's and just popped it back in himself and didn't tell anybody.

Fast forward two years and what happens?

A strong gust of wind, over he goes and whallop! Shoulder's gone again.

A situation which may have been avoided, had he reported the original injury when it happened.

Another 10 games a season man it would appear.

Let's sell him quick.

That's because he didn't do it playing for the U-18s. He did it playing five a side. I was there, and it wasn't 3 years ago. He was supposed to be out injured so he went in net for his mates 5 a-side team.

I'm guessing insuring Mark Davies is the equivalent of trying to insure a Ferrari after you've just got out of prison for killing 10 people in a drink driving haze.

Any company has a duty of care to anybody injured at work during their employ.

That's a myth. If anyone gets injured at my place I find a way to fire them.
