HomeNo worries chipbutty - as I say only seen the Pilot and 1st episode proper, as its televised 1 day behind the States, for all I know it could actually go the direction of "we are great" gun ho crap. I, agree with you, that I have given up on US drama's because of the same reasons you give.

A lot of Americans do not even possess a passport and seem quite oblivious to world events.
Mind you, watching some of our home grown flotsam on Big Brother the other night had me wincing in embarrassment. Some of them didn't know who Adolf Hitler was or what the word ' Nazi ' meant.
The portly 19 year old, Becky, from Blackburn stated that she didn't want to know anything about history. The intelligentsia of Blackburn must dread it every time she opens her cakehole.
