I’d be pleased with Rodwell if it was a short term, low pay deal. Clearly got the talent, just needs the right attitude.

He was also expected to spend some time training with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem that same month but that deal never came to fruition and he finished last season training with the club's Under-23s.
