Another 60 year old as yet unnamed celebrity has had his collar felt this morning. The cops are obviously getting some overtime in for Christmas.

You have to wonder why this is all coming out now, and why nothing had been said at the time, and are the police going off bum information?, if it is all true then lock the fuckers up for the rest of their natural, but until proven they should not be named and shamed in my opinion.

I'm quite cynical about all this. I can understand a few victims/witnesses waiting 30 years to come forward, but it seems EVERYONE waited 30 years to come forward.

Maybe they were scared to say something when they were younger and now feel the time is right. Or maybe they didn't think it was wrong at the time. One day you might decide to report that teacher to the authorities who shagged you at 15.

What if they did report what happened way back then ? They would have more likely been interviewed by some chain smoking hairy arsed copper who hadn't a clue about child protection and how to interview kids.

It looks as if the cops are looking at old complaints retrospectively whereby charges were not preferred because it was one word against another. If they have done their homework they will have traced and relocated victims from way back when and reinterviewed them. Those whose initial complaint is still verbatim today will be treated with sympathy and understanding and if they are prepared to assist the police then the CPS will authorise that they should be charged.

According to Slipper of the Yard they have now received over 450 separate complaints regarding the conduct of Sir James. 82% of the victims were women.

Is it just me, or as each day goes by is it getting harder to tell the difference between the Queen's Honours List and the Sex Offenders Register ?

There was something on the news about a woman who was sorry that some guy was potentially in trouble because he was so nice to her when he had relations with her when she was 15. The guy was in a band. He probably did it with loads more girls. Anyone else see it? I can't remember what the band was.

Fred Talbots house has been search, during this last week, by Police from complaints of child abuse whilst he was a teacher during the 1970's!

The Old Bill were at Fred's house this morning according to the news! No arrest was made as nobody was home. The police are asking ' Where's Fred ?'
