Frank Worthington it was worth the entrance fee just to watch him warm up before the match

It's obviously Nat Lofthouse.

In my time watching us my favourite is Super John McGinlay.

Anelka is the best I've seen.

It has to be Nic Anelka for me, too young to ever see Lofthouse.

Some of things Anelka could do as a striker were amazing.

Hello and welcome Roger.

It’s taken you over 8 months to make a post - but what a cracker it was - Walker was brilliant and his top class career cruelly cut short by injury.

I do hope that now you've gotten the hang of this posting malarkey that you post a bit more frequently than once every half year or so!

Here's hoping anyway.

Andy Walker was superb. That 92/93 season he was unstoppable.

Until that wanker Des Lyttle crippled him.

Anelka for me too. What a player he was for us.

Anelka - don't think we really had a truly world class striker before or since.

Nat Lofthouse, obviously.

In the modern era, it's either Gudjohnsen or Anelka for me.... I'm thinking Anelka probably just wins it.

I can't choose between Lofthouse, Worthington and Anelka. They all are brilliant but in different ways.

McGinlay is a legend but not quite in the same class as these three.
