I don't know why so many Wanderers fans dislike Wigan. It's not as if we have a massive history with them. I have never seen their ground full in all the time we have played them at the DW and it's only in the last few years that their fanbase has overtaken their Rugby League following.

We have a drink in the Sportsbar right next to the ground and mingle with them and I have never seen any aggro in the past. I'd rather see the likes of City or Utd get relegated than any other north west team apart from Blackburn ( since those clueless Indian cnuts took over )

I'd much rather have a Chairman like DW than some fucking popcorn chewing soccerball yanks or shifty oil traders who haven't a fcuking clue about football. How many wealthy Englishmen have bought a Yanky Baseball or Grid Iron team? The answer is none and the reason is that none of them are that fcuking stupid.

We can't have Wigan in the Premiership while we are in the Championship - I do think they'll struggle too...

Wigan became the first team to win the FA Cup and get relegated in the same season, losing 4-1 at Arsenal...

At least there was something for them to cheer about this season.

They won't. They'll be pushing for the top 2 next season. They have a good team but not many individuals that will be picked up by PL clubs. Plus money in the bank we can only dream of.

To be fair the attitude of the players was a disgrace. To think the fans paid good money to watch players who weren't arsed and cared nothing for the club is shocking.
They had some half decent players but they all cared nothing. They would have been better off keeping the team/squad who got promoted 2 years ago. They seemed to have a real togetherness.
