Bolton favourite 3 central midfielders from the past 20 years?

If the club did a 1st, 2nd and 3rd favourite central midfielders for the past 20 years, who would your top 3 be?
For me it would be:
1: Per Frandsen
2: Kevin Nolan
3: Ivan Campo

A midfield trio of Campo, Nolan and Frandsen would be unreal.
How about you?

3: Nolan

Have to agree. Although Per Frandsen is a close 4th.

No room for Djorkaeff? He could play on the wing or midfield.

Same as.

I much prefer Hierro to Campo - in fact Campo was dropped to make way for Hierro.

If Djorkaeff is classed as attacking midfield I would have him too.

I think a good team needs an 'engine' and I wasn't at all impressed with Nolan the last couple of years he was with us. I would have gone for Peter Reid but I suspect it may be over 20 years since he last played for us, therefore I go for Jason McAteer.

Not the most skilful of players but he'll run all day for the team and through brick walls if required.

Ibrahim BA has to be trolling he was easily the worst player I've ever seen in white.

McAteer was a superb player for us. He could run all day and knew how to take a man on. I can remember him scoring a great goal where he got the ball in his own half, took about 3 players on and put it in the net. Can't remember who it was against tbh. Millwall maybe.

My 3 would be...

1 - Youri. Best player I've ever seen play for us.

2 - Frandsen. Brilliant player for us.

3 - Nolan. Scored some great goals for us and was part of the best team we've had since the olden days.

Remember Sasa Circic or whatever his name was, went to villa.

He was a good midfielder .

He was brilliant.

Then he fucked us off the day before the new season started.

Remember how big his nose was before he got a nose job?

Curcic was an exciting signing, I used to love it when we signed players for like £3m-£4m from places like Croatia and Denmark - ie Frandsen, Jensen, Johansen. You knew they must be decent but not sure what to expect.
