Jesus, a bit of a shock that, no age.

A little story about Ian Greaves interviewed shortly after the club had sacked him.

He was saying how he left the club, got into his car a drove away only to see a funeral cortege come the other way. Hi thought, yes I've having a bad day getting the sack but that is nothing compared to what the family of that man is going through.

Always stuck in my head that did and it somehow comes back to me when I, myself am going through stormy waters - sort of helps me put things into context some how.

Sad day, RIP Brian.

Saw him play at the time. More passion than this lot now, a poor man's Peter Reid, but always put a shift in. Farny lad.
RIP

I am fairly sure Brian was from Atherton, used to
see him a lot around Howe Bridge area. I think he did a bit of coaching when he left Bolton.
RIP mate..
