Will be sacked if we lose before we win.

Anyone agree with this?

I have said it before and I'll say it again. Fergie didn't win anything at United until his fourth season. Chopping and changing managers at this early stage is self destructive.

However, if we are still in the bottom three come the end of November then I think the board will act,but not before.

I've stuck a poll on for you mate.

He's not going to be sacked and I believe he will turn out good for us eventaually. He seems to eventually accepted that Knight, Wheater, Lee and Ngog simply don't do the job for us and is now doing something about it.

Late but better late than never.

I'd still rather have Dougie over Megson or Coyle and they both had plenty of time to turn things round.

And neither did, so what's your point exactly?

Allardyce did nothing for years either. The point Natasha is that when a manager is appointed in a situation where the club needs rebuilding root and branch it's a gamble, but you have to back him and his long term plan and accept there will be rough times for a while otherwise you'll never find out if the work he does at all levels of the club will bear fruit.
It may not, but that's the gamble.
The alternative is to chop and change which may bring short-term relief but hinders the development of the playing staff long-term.

Cheers for the poll! I personally think if we lose on Saturday the board could act, Tuesday was definitely positive though

My point is that Dougie should be given more time.

But you've used Megson & Coyle as perfect examples of why a manager should NOT get more time.

It's all about finances I'm afraid. In an ideal world I'd like Pepe to manage us but hey ho, I still prefer Dougie over our previous two managers.

He's also said he thinks Dougie's better than the previous two. I think he's more deserving of that time than Megson or Coyle were.

Yeah, but we can't keep using Megson & Coyle as a benchmark for BWFC managers. Why not use Rioch and Allardyce?

Because they are ancient history?

Chris Amos has a mate who is on the board ok.

I have it on good authority 'by Chris himself' that if we lose our next game first, Freedman will be out before Monday dinner-time.

That means bags packed, goodbye's said, the lot.

Now Chris Amos's mate of the board is a good sauce, he's never let him down yet.

No, because it's easier for the Dougie lovers to use rubbish managers like Megson and Coyle to justify keeping him on.

Dougie isn't half the manager Rioch/Allardyce were and you know it.

we're living in a different world now Nat and you know it.

he can't be compared to any of our previous managers.

expectations at an all time high, finances at an all time low.
