You're starting to crumble. Serves you right for having a manager that looks like an arsehole with dentures.

If 11 games unbeaten defines crumble, can I please have custard and cream with mine?

11 unbeaten..... not bad, you've got to keep it going, if you can hats off, if you can't hats on.

I'm not one for getting carried away. In the 2001/02 season we were in top spot at Christmas and we finished in 7th place.

Anyway this is a Bolton board, so stop making me talk about Burnley.

Fair play to Burnley, they're going well and I'd swap places in a heartbeat. Are you surprised CD or did you fancy your chances this season?

Only a lying Burnley fan would say that they aren't surprised at how we've started this season. We deserve it though, it has been no fluke.

I expected us to finish around 10th place before the start of the season.

If our first XI and couple of subs stay injury free then yes we can.

I'm hoping for (and Dyche is looking) another body in this month.

My Uncle and my Dad are both lifelong clarets fans and they've had a ball this season. They haven't actually dared to say it aloud yet but they're definitely starting to think automatic promotion is on the cards and if you guys get it then more power to you. I just wish we'd started this season anything like as well as you or even as well as we finished last term. That said unbeaten in seven with two wins on the bounce is not to be sneezed at especially given how tragically bad our start was. Good luck to you.

I don't know much about Burnley, but was it Eddie Howe who signed Shacknell, Tripper, Ings & Vokes? If it was, I think Burnley would be in a real mess without Howe's signings.

Not really a mess, as Howe couldn't get the best out of them like Dyche has.

In any case, Dyche has signed Heaton, Jones and Arfield who have all been instrumental in where we are at the moment.

Howe had a bit of brass to spend (Ings £1 million, Austin £1.2 million, Shackell £1 million-ish) Dyche doesn't have that.

It's one thing signing players when you have the money but it's another to get them playing as a team.
