Benefits street..

Has anyone been watching this over the past few weeks?

Parts of it are pretty much an advertisment for NSPCC.

I haven't seen it but I know what to expect.

Quite unimaginative stuff by Channel 4 really.

They could do a programme about the real villains in terms of taking money from the state, but it wouldn't appeal as much to the average dumbo Facebook/Twatter ranter.

It's fucking horrific, their was a part in it tonight where a little lad leaves his bike at the park and the reaction of his mother was awful IMO.

He was sat on the street in tears, but don't worry it's not the mothers fault because she has ''problems'' and may need a break.

British television at its worst. I look forward to 'Tax evasion street' and 'MP's wallowing in the trough' street.

That was amusing when the black guy was helping the white guy write a cv so he could get a job. How ironic that the black guy hadn't got a job either.

The whole concept is designed to provoke outrage. The genuinely deserving who are on the breadline are lumped in with the dossers. The worst examples of the layabouts are deliberately highlighted to give the impression that all poor people who live on council estates behave the same.

Cheap telly at it's best in my opinion.
