Pan fried sea bass in garlic butter, new pot's and green's for me.

Had Scampi and chips in the pub. Haven't had them for years ....and then remembered why. (ok, but not the most exciting meal)

Sound's to me you aint had proper Scampi, done in a beer batter.

I had chips,(crispy) Jumbo sausage and thick gravy, there is only one chippy I use now.

I travel 3 miles to use it, if you want I'll recommend it, its run all by women.

I think I may have a problem using that one' cold food.

Haha, if you live or willing to travel 5 mile for fish n chips , give it a go, I know someone who travels 7 0r 8 mile just to use the small chippy.

I remember Scampi making its debut many years ago in pub basket meals. A real novelty then. Of course the Irish came up with a similar idea, but it didn't really get off the ground,.. soup in a basket.

Su no longer works as he has been retired for the last 15 years but he passed it on to his son and daughter-in-law who run it nowadays and never had a bad takeaway - whether it be Chippy or Chinese!
