This can go either way, especially as we still don't seem to have a consistent game plan, or at least one that goes past half a game. Because we are at home, I will go for a 1-0 home win, as I can't see us scoring too many at the rate we are going.

No idea about this one. If we keep shipping easy goals it could be a disaster.

Honestly haven't got a clue about this one.
Boro looked quite decent is spells against Dirty Leeds and were unlucky not to get something out of the game in my opinion, so they may cause us some problems.
If we score early and try parking the bus, I fear the worst.
Mason played well on Saturday, so Dougie'll probably drop him for Beckford.
(Joke.....I hope.)
As I say, it could go either way and I haven't got a scooby.....

I'm surprised that you think we'll get that close to Boro given that our defence is shit, our forwards can't score an our manager is a tactical tard.Natasha Whittam wrote:We'll lose this 1-0.
Why is it that all the people baying for Dougie's head have us down for losing by no more than one goal? Where are the usual "we'll get humped by at least 3 goals" predictions?
What does it mean?
If it helps I'll go for BWFC 0 Boro 2...smell of blood in the water should bring in a few scavengers....

Really not sure about this one. Before the Forest game I'd have said nailed on thumping for us.
But if we play like we did in the first half against Forest then I think we might win. Play like the second and they'll bury us. I think the latter is more likely given Dougie's mindset so I'll predict a loss but not necessarily a hammering. 2-0 or 2-1 to Borough.

Im predicting a loss...
The reason is that due to my current lack of faith in all things bwfc, if i predict a loss and expect one... then should we win or draw, it makes me happier, if we lose, i expected it anyway...
We stand a chance, provided DF goes with 2 up front again, preferably mason and cravies or beckford.

It means Boro are almost as shite as us. Almost.

No chance.
Boro have had an excellent summer in terms of their signings, Clayton is a brilliant player at this level and someone I wanted us to sign from Leeds when he left there. Kike's started well and Adomah is a very decent winger. They're better than us in almost every department I'd say, but not as good as Forest so I'd be disappointed if we lost.

Team news: Who's fit for Middlesbrough clash?
Heading into the midweek Sky Bet Championship clash against Middlesbrough at Macron Stadium Bolton’s main injury issue surrounds the fitness of Dean Moxey.
The left-back hobbled off with a knock to the foot on the opening day at Watford and has since missed out on the matchday squad for back-to-back home games against Bury and Nottingham Forest.
“Dean has trained today (Monday),” Dougie Freedman explained in his pre-match press conference. “We’ll assess him in the morning and he’ll be touch and go right up until kick off on Tuesday night.”
The manager also confirmed that a toe injury will continue to keep Mark Davies out of action, though the midfielder is expected back in first team action in the coming weeks.
Marc Tierney and Sanmi Odelusi are the only other absentees, as they continue their rehabilitation from their respective injuries.

Bolton v Middlesbrough: Match preview
SETTING THE SCENE
Wanderers will be hopeful of building on Saturday’s entertaining draw with promotion candidates Nottingham Forest, with confidence at BL6 high heading into Tuesday night’s game with Middlesbrough.
Once a regular Premier League fixture, the Whites’ recent history in this tie is mixed, but with Boro yet to leave to Macron Stadium having tasted victory - their last away win in this fixture coming back in April 1987 – Bolton will be optimistic about their chances of claiming their first league win of the season.
Meanwhile, after marking his third Trotters debut with a goal, loanee Joe Mason will be eager to continue his fine goalscoring form, having scored six goals in his last nine matches under manager Dougie Freedman.
ALL-TIME RECORD
TEAM NEWS
Dean Moxey is unlikely to return against Middlesbrough after missing Wanderers’ last two matches with a foot injury, while Mark Davies will again miss out (toe).
Marc Tierney and Sanmi Odelusi are the only other absentees as the Whites prepare for their third home match in the last seven days.
Meanwhile, for the visitors, new signing Adam Clayton could make his full Boro debut after coming off the bench against Leeds United on Saturday following his move from Huddersfield Town last week.
LAST TIME OUT
16/08/2014: Leeds United 1-0 Middlesbrough (Sharp, 87)
Leeds debutant Billy Sharp marked his maiden Whites appearance with a late winner as Aitor Karanka’s Middlesbrough side fell to a narrow defeat at Elland Road.
Boro thought they had taken the lead midway through the first half through Albert Adomah, only to see his acrobatic overhead kick ruled out for a high boot.
Middlesbrough: Mejias, Abella, Omeruo, Ayala, Friend, Adomah, Whitehead (Clayton 60), Leadbitter, Reach (Nsue 74), Tomlin (L Williams 85), Kike.
ONE TO WATCH
Having worked his way up the Football League ladder following spells with Harrow Borough and Barnet, Albert Adomah joined Middlesbrough last summer from relegated Bristol City.
A Ghanaian international, the winger finished the 2013/14 campaign as the Boro’s leading goalscorer with 12 goals.
With his form earning him a place in Ghana’s 2014 World Cup squad, Adomah made one appearance in Brazil, coming off the bench in the Black Stars’ 2-1 defeat against USA.
MAN IN THE MIDDLE
Staffordshire-based referee Stephen Martin takes charge of Tuesday night’s Sky Bet Championship between Wanderers and Middlesbrough as the Whites compete in their third home match in the past seven days.
Tuesday’s match marks Mr Martin’s first ever visit to Macron Stadium, but it will be the second time he will have officiated a Bolton match having previously reffed the Trotters’ Capital One Cup tie with Tranmere Rovers last season.
David Benton and Barry Cropp will run the line, while Scott Oldham is the fourth official.
