Maybe - but certainly not for posting that cartoon!

It did get me thinking though that I hadn't seen the front page of the Hebdo since the murders.

Had I just missed it or did the main news medias purposely not show it for fear of - well whatever.

Shame if that was the case - seems the murderers got what they wanted if so.

Anyway for those who hadn't seen it like me, here it is -

BBC News showed it but with a warning beforehand.

Cheers for sharing the pic Sluffy, I hadn't seen it so far. Smile

Has anyone come across the front page that kicked off all the murders?

It looks like the Belgians are having some problems this evening. Hardly a country known for it's anti-Islamic policies.

There was an attempted murder in a Tesco somewhere in the UK today with a white man targeting an Asian today as well going round shouting white power!

Ah, thanks - I obviously missed that.

I think it was a general upset of the paper rather than a one off cartoon.

I'm guessing that the executions had been well planned out too, seems to much of a coincidence to me that they simply just pitch up on the exact day and time that they were nearly all there going through their editorial meeting.

The thought did also cross my mind as to how easy it was to come by such information?

I bet no one knows when we hold our weekly Nuts editorial meetings do they, eh, eh!?

Sad times though.

Most definately planned. The killers were calling out the names of the Editorial staff as they moved from room to room.

I heard one muslim on telly last night say freedom of speech was acceptable but some things were sacred!
So it's selective freedom of speech!!

Completely agree with the freedom to print Muhammad and whatever else you fancy. But we can't say freedom of speech isn't selective in the West, there's plenty of hypocrisy around this. March in Paris for freedom of speech on Sunday and yesterday they arrest a comedian for favouring the terrorists.

unfortunately there has to be a common sense limit to even free speech.

Tinned Toms - You know it makes sense!

Is this the pope advocating retaliation for insulting ones religion? Either way, this seems like a pretty daft thing to say considering recent events. Maybe I'm interpreting it wrongly, I'm not sure.

Armed man has taken two hostages in a Paris post office apparently. Bit presumptuous of me to put this on the Islamic atrocity thread but hey-ho.

apparently it isn't "terror" related but early days.

I bet it has nothing to do with "terror", more likely some bellend paying in 10,000 euros in small change that has caused someone to lose it.

Same thing happened to me in Croston post office.
