aah yes it's all coming back to me now, i've had a few drinks since then  Very Happy

We were due to go to Tunisia (Hammamet though, not Sousse) but after that museum attack in March, Mrs B made me go and change it to "somewhere safer", hence Turkey.

I scoffed at her at the time but I'm not scoffing now.......

There's some nice country walks in Bootle and the beach is quite good, if a bit on the small side.

They think they will be rewarded for slaughtering people in "paradise" with 7 virgin children.

you can't rationalise with people like that sadly.

Apparently, and I swear I'm not making this up, the top man at IS made an appeal recently for "an increase in Jihadi activity" during Ramadan, stating that "any act of terror perpetrated during the holy month would earn double points".

Like it's some sort of bizarre, twisted BOGOF deal........

Im not being funny, but why anyone would go to any of them sort of shitholes would want their head testing, nice places, but!

If they want to kill you stay away, end of.

Even Turkey, id stay clear.

I remember  Kosovo, what a great place, holiday places in some parts,  there for six months, but when on rest, the people were great with us, but let your Guard down and you could become into a trap, end of it was dangerous.

I had to cock my SA80 once or twice when i was there due to them trying to attack a Serb Church.

If it wearn't for all the shit going on, its a great place.

Is it time that our own police force have their own guns perhaps?

All this shit that is going on leaves a shiver down my spine, I think it's time Cameron does something to stop it happening here.

The amount of security we have here is not enough and at whatever cost needs increasing like it used to be even if it means that the deficit takes a few years longer to pay off!!!

Give police guns and it wont take long for people to turn against them like they do in America. And its not going to help against the fight with terrorists. Again look at America. Its not exactly a deterrent. 74s ideology with integration and building trust between communities would be great but its not an ideal world and the threat is very real. even the best most honourable Muslims would rather spit on you than rat out a fellow Muslim.

We have a huge problem that people aren't vetted enough when coming into the country. People are getting through the net who pose a great threat on us and that is where we need to start. I'm not saying not to let people into the country but set criteria has to be met to allow them refuge etc.

A system should be in place where instead of jail, things like dna, fingerprints etc are taken and they are deported. Never to be allowed again to step into this great country of ours.

And people who slate the country and rally people and encourage terrorism should do the same. Your either with us or your out. Our prisons should be for home grown criminals and they need to be less like butlins and more like a real deterent.

Im going off on a tangent now but i think you can see what i am getting at. There are a lot of problems to be sorted out and the government just isnt doing enough to make this a safe respectable place for hard working people to bring up a family. You shouldnt need to worry and we shouldn't even really need to be having these conversations on a daily basis.

But it is happening. It is real. And something does need to be done and stricter laws and practices brought into place.

I cant beleive i being this sensible at 2am in the morning (even though some of you wont agree) but hey ho.

Anyway, sleep time now.

Night all

Your future prime minister y2j Very Happy

What terrifies me is how normally rational people (as opposed to retards like Scott) are so easily taken in by media hype, hyperbole, exaggeration, nonsense and all the other general bullshit that gets spouted around this issue.

The way people are talking, you'd think there was some "Muslim armada" speeding across The Channel, ready to kill us all in our beds for eating cheese burgers.

Everybody needs to calm the fuck down.
