I have two Chinese watches, one for each day.

Got a watch for my Birthday in April that's almost as big as a plate. I can't wear the bastard.
I might as well strap a clock to my arm.

Are you sure you don't just have very thin arms?@boltonbonce wrote:Got a watch for my Birthday in April that's almost as big as a plate. I can't wear the bastard.

Took it off when I had a bath, dropped it and it broke my toe. Good job it hit my toe or would have gone through the bathroom floor.

Dug this old thread up because I've developed a passion for Shinola watches. Anyone else have one?

They're pretty stylish KP. I like simple watches, that just tell me the time in the UK. I'm not bothered about knowing what time it is in Hong Kong or Sydney.@karlypants wrote:Very nice watch Boncey.
I'm not too fussed about them being waterproof to a depth of 500m either. If I'm looking at my watch at 500m,I'm drowning.

Well ive took the next step in watches and got one of them ere smart ones. A Samsung galaxy s3 frontier to be precise.
Not sure I'm using it as they should be used. I've monitored my sleep patterns afew times, used it to text and answer calls, and funnily enough to tell the time, but the bastard thing keeps beeping at me if i have been sat down for an hour and tells me to do some stretches.

Not bought a new watch for a long time, so, after a mate gave me some good reviews, I got myself a Citizen Promaster, otherwise known as 'ecozilla'. It's a monster. Rather like wearing a hockey puck.
Might have to get a bit fitter to wear it.

Cracked the glass on my watch yesterday so had to take it in for repair.
Having stared at my bare wrist on at least 5 occasions last night I decided to dig out my grandad's 1950's Cyma Navystar Autorotor which self winds as you move to see if I can get it to work.
Like this with a steel strap:
It's been 5 hours now and not a tick. Either it's f***** or coronavirus has turned me into a lazy bastard

Probably needs a service, Lusty. Too nice to keep in a drawer.
