The ZX Spectrum Is Back!

Great news! Production is set to start on a remodelled version of the ZX Spectrum, which will come pre-installed with 1,000 classic game titles.

Are you excited? I am. Modern games are all about graphics and sound, no one cares that 99% of the games are totally unplayable.

Speccy games were all about playability, every game Mastertronic ever made spent hours jammed in my cassette player. Who could forget Spectipede or Kikstart?

Do you miss the good old days of the Spectrum and Commodore 64? What were your favourite games?

I remember Sinclair User, it used to come through our letterbox every month with Bunty and Roy of the Rovers.

My uncle was a reviewer for just sinclair.

The Hobbit was my favourite on the 64

I used to play The Hobbit for hours.

I think he was still in uni when he did it or it was his first job out of uni. Then he worked for gremlin who made games for the 64

The MegaDrive was the biggest load of rubbish ever. I made the HUGE mistake of selling my Amiga and loads of games to pay for a MegaDrive. I never recovered, and soon stopped playing games altogether.
